Become Part of the Kona Kai Team: Automation QA Engineer  

This role will support the design and development of automated testing frameworks and test suites to ensure consistent quality and reliability across releases. In addition, you will serve as a key partner in embedding test automation into the development lifecycle, improving regression coverage and reducing risk in deployment. You will work closely with developers and technical teams to build, execute, and maintain automated tests, ensuring defects are identified early and systems perform as expected in real-world conditions. 

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Technical discipline
• 5 years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably in

Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and process mapping diagrams
• Experience with various software delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Waterfall etc.
• Experience writing User Stories to translate requirements and specifications for technical design teams
• Experience working with various delivery methodologies include Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Waterfall etc.
• Strategic way of thinking, and approaches solutions in a pragmatic method
• Experience with using tools such as Jira, Rally, ALM or Backlog to maintain bugs and defect records
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Has an openness and desire to learn new software and technologies
• Has some experience with running SQL queries
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Impeccable documentation preparation and maintenance
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors
