Kona Kai Corp receives Specialized Distinction recognition from Pega

May 9, 2022

Kona Kai Corp is proud to have achieved multiple Pega Partner Specialized distinctions in the areas of Customer Service, Client Delivery and is in the process of applying for distinction in 1:1 Customer Engagement.

Being a boutique consulting firm means consistently looking for new ways to set yourself apart from the competition and earn recognition. For a smaller firm, earning recognition from partners who typically work with hundreds of varying sized vendors establishes a level of performance that is often better than firms 10x larger.

“Being a smaller consulting company, we really appreciate the recognition and promotion Pega’s Partner program and Marketplace afford us. It’s nice and rewarding for us to have such visibility.”, says Paul Benvenuto, KKC President

In late 2021, Pega announced a recognition program for partners to earn distinction levels based on performance, delivery excellence and engagement model, Kona Kai was ready for the challenge. Focusing on exceptional client delivery has been a core and fundamental guiding principal from the company’s inception over 16 years ago. The Kona Kai mission statement drives that mindset daily for each of its employees.

“Kona Kai is committed to the success of our clients through thoughtful, dedicated, innovative, end-to-end services delivering customized solutions that bring meaningful and transformative change for immediate impact and future-state advancement”

It is that mission and mindset that has garnered a culture where client retention grows each year and why Kona Kai has replaced bigger firms on several engagements with its ‘Personal touch and commitment to client success’. Shawn Rabin, VP, Client Delivery has firsthand experience with navigating client relationships, “After having worked for one of the largest consulting companies in the world, what I love about working at Kona Kai is our ability to and focus on our clients. The relationships we can forge with our clients without question help drive up our client’s satisfaction”.

These past pandemic years provided Kona Kai with the opportunity to invest resources to develop solutions to meet the need for making data integration easier for clients. Already possessing a high level of expertise in data integration, customer service and 1:1 customer engagement, Kona Kai looked at what was needed in the healthcare industry.  As a result, Kona Kai developed 2 application accelerators that leverage the HL7 FHIR data applied to Pega’s Healthcare Framework.

The combination of delivery excellence, continued performance excellence and the development of client facing solutions afforded Kona Kai the opportunity to apply for Pega distinction.

Kona Kai Corp is proud to have achieved multiple distinctions and continues to invest in developing solutions that benefit our clients.  For more information contact us today.
